Our Day Support Services stress individualized schedules made up of community-based experiences, with goals derived from the Person-Centered Plans. Daily activities and services reflect choices made by each person.
We Provide Pre-Vocational Services which prepares individuals for employment. Individuals may engage in job exploration, travel training, computer skills training, volunteering, and a variety of employment skills training.
BlueWest Opportunities Vocational Services has a special minimum wage certificate from the Department of Labor that allows piece rates to be paid for work completed. This allows participants to engage in meaningful employment within their abilities. We contract with local businesses within the community. Some of the businesses we are currently working with are:

A variety of opportunities are provided at our Day Support Centers. Opportunities include: Community Integration with local organizations to develop volunteer opportunities. In accordance with a person’s interests and values, participants can volunteer in activities of their choosing that allow them to be active members of their communities. Continuing Education with local community Colleges and offer participants a variety of learning options (https://www.mayland.edu). Other activities/opportunities include but are not limited to: horticulture, music therapy (https://www.trap-learning.org), Arts & Crafts, Health & Wellness, Recreation, Social, Safety Awareness, and Pet Therapy.
