Meaningful Movement is one of the classes we attend at The Vanishing Wheelchair. While there, we learn some relaxation techniques.
The class is based on research done by Dr. Herbert Benson while he was at Harvard University’s Mind and Body Institute. Dr. Benson discovered the Relaxation Response. The basic premise is that someone can not be stressed and relaxed at the same time.
